What is ETG?
ETG stands for electrotrichogenesis.
If we break down this word into its component parts we get:
Electro = using electricity
Tricho = referring to the hair
Genesis = the formation of something new
The Growcomb works by emitting a pulsed electrostatic field through the glass diodes which come in contact with the root of the hair follicle.
This helps kickstart the hair follicle back into growth phase.
How does the Growcomb work?
All hair follicles go through 3 phases known as the hair growth cycle before shedding:
1: Anagen (growth) phase
2: Catagen (transition) phase
3: Telogen (resting) phase
1: Choose your power setting.
The Growcomb comes with 4 power settings. To get started you'll want to choose power setting 1 or 2, until you get used to the sensation of the pulsed electrostatic field. Once you become familiar with the feeling you can move up to setting 3 or 4. The sensation can be described as a little bit tickly, but also quite pleasant.
2: Gently comb your hair.

3: You're all done!
After 10 minutes of use the Growcomb will automatically turn off. You're all done for today. Just make sure you cover all the intended area in 10 minutes. You'll only need to recharge the battery less than once every week. For extra fast results, comb before bedtime and then apply the Scalp Elixir after.
